Privacy policy

Earlycut is made by Shed Lab Ltd. This policy covers the Earlycut app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website, earlycut.app.

The app

Earlycut collects no data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no crash-reporting or advertising SDKs, and no third-party SDKs at all. The app makes no network requests of its own.

• Your audio is processed on your device. It is never uploaded. Audio leaves your device only when you share an export yourself, for example through the share sheet.
• Temporary files. Exports are written to a temporary folder and deleted after sharing and at every launch. Files the app has to copy in (for example from Mail, AirDrop or the share extension) are excluded from iCloud backup and deleted when they drop out of Recents or haven't been opened for 30 days. Files opened in place, such as from Files or iCloud Drive, are never copied.
• Settings are stored on your device only.
• Purchases. Earlycut Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the purchase record. We never see your payment details or your Apple ID.

This website

The site has no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation.

If you use the feedback form on the support page, we receive the message you write and, if you choose to give one, your email address. We use them only to read your feedback and to reply to you. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, and messages are delivered to us by email through Resend. We keep feedback for as long as it is useful, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Sharing

We don't sell or share personal information. The service providers named above process data only to run the site and deliver your message.

Children

Earlycut is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. The only data we might hold is a feedback message you sent. Email support@earlycut.app and we'll act on it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. The app's promise that it collects no data won't change without an update to the App Store privacy label.
